Thinking of buying an HTC I-Mate AT&T 3125- Anything I should know?

I'm thinking about purchasing an unlocked AT&T 3125 from eBay (Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HTC-3125-UNLOCKED-...93%3A1|294%3A50 ).

I'm fairly new to WinMo phones, and I'm not looking for anything special, I just want to know this will work with my T-Mobile SIM for calls, voicemail (receiving alerts), MMS, and text messages. I know it runs a pretty old version of Windows Mobile, but all I really want is a suitable replacement for my Samsung D807. Can anyone give me a quick run through of the positives and negatives of this thing?

Apart from the battery life which needs charging every two days or so depending on use it's not a bad phone.

I would certainly buy another one for myself if I spotted a decent offer in the UK.

The other half uses a pink version so it's unlikely I'd borrow it from here :lol:

That's good to know, I recharge every day, so the battery life isn't a problem. It'll definitely be better than my current phone (my 3 year old Samsung D807's battery is pretty much shot by now anyway).

Oh, and sorry for the cross post, I just saw that the sub heading under this section said nothing about specific phones. Since I couldn't figure out how to delete it, I started a new one in the correct section for this specific phone (STR Trk). Sorry!
