Are you sure? Why would Apple support the production of nike plus if you shouldnt use it?

I thought running around with a device is a only a problem if the hard disk uses spinning platters.

I think the Omnia uses flash memory which doesnt have any moving parts. So the functionality shouldnt be affected if we decided to go running around with it.

Please correct me if im wrong.

You are right, there are no moving parts in the Omnia (or iphone/ipod touch), they all have solid state flash memory. I have a pouch that straps onto your arm (round your bicep) and I use that and bluetooth headphones when I run. That works perfectly.

I got mine in a sports shop when I got trainers, it's just a generic one but it fits the Omnia perfectly

When you buy Moto S9, you will get free motorola ARMband that come inside the package.

It fits nicely with Omnia when i go for jog or gym.

Sounds great with Samsung R2VS sound driver.

I do have a wireless headset. The reason why I'm looking for an armband is coz is the pocket the Omnia is always bouncing around while running. It's kinda irritating and also you tend to fear that it just might drop out or something shitty might happen. I saw a few armbands for the iPhone 3G, considering the similar dimensions, but getting one for the Omnia itself would be great. Avoid anything Apple for as long as possible :D

thats true but the same dimensions work good, and everyone knows that reall good stuff come out for the ipods, especially for sports equipment

Leave it in the locker!

How much time do you spent in the gym anyway?

"if you have time to socialize, you are doing something wrong" From a fitness magazine, I hope you get the point :D

Thanks to the in-house comedian there :D

Did you consider the OP might want the Omnia with them while jogging simply to listen to music. I don't recall seeing them mention a gym either, maybe they run on the road in which case it would be wise to have a phone in case of an emergency.

Use your loaf

Just went out riding my bike and didnt want to take my backpack with me. So i took my own suggestion. It works! lol

quick edit: Stood up to 2 hours of bumpy pavement and some offroad/jumping curbs.

lol thats hilarious! <_<

for those of you guys that are into fitness and want to track heart rate, distance, gps, calorie intake, reps, set, maxes, weight, etc etc etc. I tested out "MySportTraining" today. (http://www.vidaone.com/mst_ppc.htm) It seems to work ok once you get the hang of it. I read the manual just to make sure I knew how to use every function. One of the features that I have yet to test is exporting the data to excel. That's something Ive been wanting to do for a while now.

...If anyone else has some other fitness programs they are using please let me know!

Dont want to hijack this thread. So just PM me for now. I'll set-up another post later.
