omnia call log doesn't sort properly...HELP!

hi everyone...i just got the omnia 2 days ago and it has this weird problem with the call log. it displays the date for only one of the calls i've made in that time. otherwise it only shows the time i made the call. the problem is, that the most recent call isn't listed first even though i have it set to sort by time. it's listed chronologically by the time only without taking into account the date the call was made. that means that a call i made this morning at 8am is listed AFTER a call i made yesterday at 10pm.

i have spb mobile shell installed...not sure if this has anything to do with it. i also had flashed the phone with theidoctor.org's new ROM. i called verizon tech support and of course they are completely useless.

sorry if this has already been discussed, but i searched the forums (a lot) and couldn't find anything similar.

any help would be appreciated!
