can't see windows directory from computer

i am trying to install the lightsaber app to see the accelerometer function, but i cant get it to work because i need to install the 2 dll's for the htc emulator into the windows directory on the omnia. i see it on the omnia, but NOT on my computer. so i tried to paste the drivers into another folder so that i could just copy them to the windows directory from my phone. But they transfer then disappear. help?

make sure you are connected via active sync and that the device is not in memory card mode.

If its in memory card mode you will not be able to see the home directories, and only the contents of the memory card you have chosen.

To change back to active sync mode I believe it is under settings and then system if my memory serves me correctly. Its defo under settings anyway.

i looked but did not find a memory card option nor a way to uncheck it. but i have a screenshot of the problem. i see everything from my computer except 'temp' and 'windows', and 2 files called mxip_lang, and mxip_notify. but i can see a file from my pc called 'databases' that is not shown on my omnia (using my mobiler). its just wierd that i can navigate through my whole phone through activesync, except those few files.

...i know this sounds totally noob. i have read another forum (or blog?) where this happened to someone and he got slayed by the community for being an idiot for not finding the windows directory....comments like "hey, do you know where the 'on' button is?"

anyway, help appreciated!

It's normal that you don't see it. It's because Windows folders are protected security files.

It's been a while that I had an XP, but go into the menu where you can show or hide hidden folders, there you'll find something about show protected folders or something like that
