Guest lorin.bute Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 I have installed Shokka's DXID1 WM 6.5 Lite rom and after installing Samsung's FM Radio i cant make it work. It doesn't scan automatically or manually and i get no sound what so ever (not even static). Can those who have WM 6.5 or DXID1 test the FM Radio please? Thanks.
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 (edited) Yeh I have the same problem, it finds all the channels on the right frequency but seems like they are all mute when I select a channel even when radio+phone volume is on max, did you use (BeamRider's) OmniaTMC driver by any chance or did you install the phone DXID1 Update (cz I have both but never really tried the radion in 6.5? I'm still figuring out if maybe it has something to do with this, just reinstalled the radio cab file rebooted but still the same problem. Edited May 6, 2009 by jeffrey2000
Guest lorin.bute Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 (edited) I was testing Omnia TCM and i got an error message so i thought i have a problem with the radio. I unistalled TCM and then I installed the radio and it isn't working. So i guess the radio is causing TCM to give errors or the other way around. I hope someone figures out how to make it work. Guest Nicklashidegard Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 i had the same problems before. I installed Shokka9's 21215 rom (v7) and instaled TMC. Got loads of error messages and realized that the radio wasn't present. i got the radio from here http://www.samsung-omnia.org/shokka9%27s-k...moved-programs/ . After i installed the radio the TMC still wouldn't work, so i uninstalled the TMC, downloaded the latest version (there's new ones out all the time) and re-instaled. After that it works again !!! Remember to always connect the headphone bit to the omnia as it works as a aerial for the FM. And always remember to soft-reset after you've done anything (installed/uninstalled).. Hope you get it working soon
Guest lorin.bute Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no success. I followed the uninstalling procedure as it is on the pdf file but stil nothing. I think i'm going to do a hard reset.
