Guest Omega Ra Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 must be an i900 thing as my i910 didn't come with earphones. But mine did come with the proprietary splitter cable :D
Guest necosino Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 must be an i900 thing as my i910 didn't come with earphones. But mine did come with the proprietary splitter cable :D I wonder, if all of us i910 owners called samsung demanding headphones, would they send them to us?

Guest MrJoneswii Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 I love the omnia's headphones At first it was uncomfortable and I had to get used to them and find the right position. But now that I have, I love them.
Guest whitj Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 AH that sucks! I hate having to plug the splitter into my phone and THEN plug headphones into that... I would kill for some headphones that have a samsung connector... off to ebay I go!

Guest WoZZeR999 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I had trouble at first, but then I found the right hole to put it in...
Guest chokia Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Forget about Omnia earset, quality of the sound coming out from it really crap even after R2SV or SRS WOW installed. My Moto S9 (bluetooth stereo headset) or any bt headset that wellknown to produce less quality audio are still better than Omnia stock earset.

My Moto S9 (bluetooth stereo headset) or any bt headset that wellknown to produce less quality audio are still better than Omnia stock earset. The stock Omnia earset is actaully not too bad, on the contary I found them quite adequate. Personally, I too prefer my bluetooth Nokia BH-503 headset but battery drain is the main reason I don't use them so often. Perhaps your music or watever is badly encoded?
Guest whitj Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Perhaps your music or watever is badly encoded? Someone just got BUUUUURNED :D
Guest kav Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 (edited) is it that hard to figure out how to use the earfones???? LOL... dont have to be a genius to know that LOL...:D i dont really use the onmia earfones, but i have similar earplugs, and they are quite comfortable unless u r going jogging and sound quality with the omnia is not bad at all specially with my Koss prota Pro headfones, my omnia sounds almost like a good creative mp3 player. looking forward to test the omnia sound quality with the new bose earplugs i've been wanting to buy... Edited May 7, 2009 by kav
Guest eddied Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Yes, well, I found the standard earphones a bit funny at first, but soon got used to them. I tend to use BT headphones to listen to music. My gripe is that I can't use BT to listen to FM radio. cheers, eddied
Guest Sinaaa Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 The idea of Put and push until it hurt was really funny :D) Although somehow right. I got rid of samsung own provided headsets on day one. Worst quality I've ever heard with through an earphone.(I suggest samsung go in a competition with Those who make headphones for airplanes. Maybe samsung can win!) I put my own headphone in the connector, and its now good quality. Although its the worst idea of putting the adapter on the side of the phone! it cannot be put in any pocket! Not comfortable and gets out easy! Why they cant make something like iphone and put it under the phone? or at least putting a 3.5mm on top of the phone! Samsung has really stupid designers....
Guest Christian Spain Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 AH that sucks! I hate having to plug the splitter into my phone and THEN plug headphones into that... I would kill for some headphones that have a samsung connector... off to ebay I go! i feel the same way but someone turned me on to this http://www.cnet.com.au/jabra-bt3030_images-p3-339284004.htm so i'm given that a try. thank you for this thread :D

Are you using the adaptor (such as the one that came with teh i910) or headphones that plug directly in? i must say that the adaptor with its 90 degree angle plug, works rather well when in a pocket (unless you can fit the phone horizontally in your pocket that is.) I love BT mainly for the controls, but the audio quality from a phone is... meh. Like i've mentioned, if you can try BT stereo headphones from a PC, its surprising how much better the volume/quality is. I'd LOVE to hear some personal reviews comparing the BT3030 mentioned here against regular bluetooth headhpones as it has the controls, but uses wired headphones.... altho BT batterey drain sucks lol
Guest Stonywillis Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Hello, Anyone know where I can get replacment rubber parts for the Samsung earphones? I like mine, but lost one of the rubber bits, I thought I had spares in the box but it turns out they're different sizes. Cheers.
