Guest JDawg183 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Ok, this probably seems like a dumb question from the title so let me explain. I know how to turn down the volume normally, however, when i have it down to the lowest setting (1) it is still too loud. Is there anyway to change this so it starts lower? A registry setting or something? I have been searching and only found one thing close using the soundtester.exe but it does not have any effect on my phone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Guest joža Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 you can do it all the same as incerasing but the other way around-so you lower volume for 3 dB or something. there is also an app called Volumectrl that can adjust volume by percentage but you cannot link it to volup adn voldown buttons.

Guest Foster318 Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 I believe he is referring to this. Far as I know it doesn't work on the i910, at least not for me. My complaint is it's not loud enough, would love a fix for this.

Well crap, this bites. It is just a little too loud to play music at work and for my alarm in the morning. My wife gets irritated when I start screaming! lol, jk. Anywho, a bit of bad news possibly (or good news depending on how you look at it) Verizon is forced to sell off a bunch of its assets (as many already know) but that also includes 1.5 customers which are being sold to AT&T. Anyone know which cities this will affect?
Guest Foster318 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 Looks like we won't know till 4Q. Check it out here.
