Sound profile customisation?

In what way can I customise my sound profiles? As you know, there are three profiles: "On", "Vibrate" and "Off". I was wondering wether:

1. I could delete the off profile (never use it, dont want to risk pressing it);

2. Make it so that it's always on vibrate, only that when I plug in my headphones it turns to On.

Is this possible?

Well those are the default options from Windows Mobile, which can't be removed, unfortunately. You can probably use a software which switches the profile automatically when the headset is plugged in/out.

Profile changers include G-Profile (freeware), SPB Phone Suite ($20), PhoneWeaver ($15), off the top of my head. There are probably others.

They can all switch profiles when the headet is connected, but I'm not sure if they can when the headset is DISconnected. I personally use PhoneWeaver.
