Guest inigo45 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 Hallo, I have used the Garmin mobile XT 4.20.50wp on my TyTN II and upgraded recently to 5.00.20wp. The previous version could communicate bidirectional, which means I could transfer routes to and could receive saved tracks from the mobile device. The upgrade process went well and everything is usable except the following: I start Mapsource to receive the saved tracks from the mobile device and Mapsource starts the initialization and stays at 0% for ever. Interestingly when Garmin mobile XT was already started on the device it closes down and an error box appears on the mobile device. If the Garmin mobile XT was not started, it starts up resulting in the same error. 1. There is neither on the sd card nor on the device a current.gpx file even when I save a track. 2. The crashlog.txt displays the following error: [5/9/09 15:54:48 37800KB 5.00.20wp] ERROR: Assert failed at gpx_read_write.c : 1808 in GPX main with error 87 [5/9/09 15:54:48 37792KB 5.00.20wp] CALL STACK: 0x03F650AC 0x1A18544C 0x1A2A8FE8 0x1A2A9084 0x1A2EF5EC 0x1A2EFB68 0x1A2F0220 0x1A2EBDDC 0x1A2ED7C0 0x1A2ED9C8 0x1A2EDBC4 0x1A187528 0x03F6939C I found the tmpcurrent.gpx on the device \garmin\gpx folder which seems to be useless it could not be opened with any gps program (gpsbabel, g7towin, mapsource, gpsmapedit). Any ideas? Juergen
