After a number of leaks, Microsoft have now officially released their Facebook application for Windows Mobile.

Coming in at version 1.0.0.7, the new application (available in CAB for only (bad Microsoft!)) from here offers:

I've had a play with teh app, and it's pretty good! It works on both Professional (Touchscreen) and Standard (Non Touchscreen) devices.

It works quite well, but I'd like an option to auto update on startup instead of having to press the refresh button.

hangs after adding account details & pressing 'done'

shame as the facebook016.cab worked a treat

(except for no autoupdate!)

so gonna uninstall 1.0.0.7 & reinstall 016

Try this I saw on coolsmartphone worked for me.

Took me a while to get it working on my Diamond, for anyone else having trouble who used the pre-release version:

Uninstall from Remove Programs

Delete files Facebook.vol and fbmail.vol from the root

Reinstall

I've only had my Omnia i910 for about 2 weeks now and, thanks to this site, it's unrecognizable compared to the original. :D

After futzing with trying to put pics and vids from the phone onto FB (pics and vids to large), I installed this and now it's a breeze! Which is good cos I plan to spend the summer taking advantage of the 5mp camera on the Omnia.

been waiting for this app for ages but i'm not too impressed. it looks nice but performance isn't great. it takes an age to load things. i find the mobile site quicker.
