syncing only selected contacts?

hi this might be a silly question.

i have a large list of contacts that i use for marketing in my outlook. i want to sync some of these to my omnia but not all.

is there a way of selecting the ones i want and sending them across? maybe by catagory?

i have an exchange server if that makes any difference
