I have just installed the latest Quickmenu, but it doesn't seem to be integrating into my Start menu. After installing and soft resetting, my start menu still remains the same. When I look up QuickMenu.exe in the Program Files and start it, I get the start menu. So it is there.

Am I supposed to replace any shortcut for the start menu in the Windows folder somewhere? I guess so... but where? Or have I done something wrong?

this happened to me a few times, ai re-installed a few times and it stuck, i cant tell u why or how lol

p.s. this is the best app for winmo in my opinion, i use it more than any other and it simplifies many functions of the phone and also allows them to be accessed from any page, surprised it isnt a must in roms and that no one is attempting take it on and improve it as it could be better!

Strange app. I just pressed start, it was there. Then I went to my settings, pressed start again and there was the old, basic one again??

I've had this happen before. Use a utility such as "Memmaid" and try moving its startup order around.

Like if it's listed first, move it to startup last.

I tried moving it all the way to the bottom but it doesn't work :D

That is odd. This trick always worked for me and I remember having to move it to the last "startup" position. Funny thing is, currently running Adryn's V1.0 Rom on i910 and haven't had issue and it's listed 2nd in startup. Maybe try moving it to there or another position. Might be dependent on a particular config of X number of startup items?

I am a big fan off Quickmenu and have run into this issue. Quickmenu seems to work 100% of the time if you disable large menus in Settings > System. The order of start up is not important. For some reason if you have the Large Menu enabled it messes with Quickmenu.

Hope that helps.

I replaced the start.exe in my Windows folder and it is working now. Hope it stays this way.

I had the same problem on mine, once I disabled the Large Start Menu that Verizon includes it worked like a charm.
