Whats the word on an Official 6.5 release/build

I was wondering if they had anything good to show at the tech convention, but i read that it was more of a let down.. So are we any closer to getting a actual release of 6.5 or a later build? In the comments that i read they are still supposedly shooting for a December release so they should have build ready for the oems soon.

Ya what's the deal? I thought there was going to be a May 11 release??

There was never a May 11th date set for the release of WM6.5. That was misconstrued by a couple of sites. However, it has been reported by Smartphone Thoughts that the RTM has been finished. The report they made said this was announced by Microsoft on their Twitter page.

Yes I watched a video (don't remember where) of it being complete and I believe it has been released to phone manufacturers. however I do not think we will see it at all for our omnia's aside from these cooked roms and not on new phones for several more months.

thats good news though, because we will probably get more stable versions cooked.. any news or details on the final release?
