Guest zoolie Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Just abit offtopic, is the new 6.5 WinMo more finger-friendly than 6.1? It's no doubt it looks better but it also looks more friendly, atleast from your pics if you look at the X-button for exemple

Guest AkWngnut Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 I notice everyone keeps asking about this, what OS do you need to use in order to flash your Omnia? XP, Vista, W7? Isnt it just as easy to flash the Omnia as it is to lets say flash a dvd player with new instructions? Sounds like you people here are experts..... Thanks for your help in advance..... -AkWingnut
Guest Antonioffaxii Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 To all the people with OS questions, there are ways of doing it on all Windows OS's but the easiest, or what I found at least. Was using XP, straight forward, and no problems as long as you follow the instructions! I have used XP Pro x64 with supplied drivers, and it does work, but it will occasionally glitch, nothing major just minor USB problems, easier to use XP 32 bit. I couldn't find the instructions, but I'm probably an idiot, will post back with the link after work. - Anthony
Guest AkWngnut Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 (edited) Why cant you use Vista? is there some sort of glitch that will not allow you to use Vista? Is there anyone that used Vista to flash their Omina? I am just wondering, I have 3 laptops and one home server, all the laptops run vista except one, an acer aspire one, mini. I have a Dell D610, HP Pav 17' the mini.. and my home computer. So please any help... -AkWingnut Sorry so I guess it would be easier for me to install the software for my Omnia on my mini then use that to flash it, since it is running 32bit XP.
