I've been getting ready to upgrade my phone. I'm finally out of college and able to afford a smart phone and a data plan. I've had my eye on the Omnia for the last 2 weeks or so, and today I walked into Verizon to play with it one more time before I buy it Friday. To my shock it price was only $99 after mail in rebate! Last I had checked it was $199, so happy time for me, but now I ask you, I have an $100 extra dollars saved, I already have a case, mirror screen cover, and car charger coming in the mail. Anything else I need? extra battery? some odd cool extra I'm not thinking of? Thanks for your help in advance.

a nice set of earphones, bluetooth is a good idea, but if you want to use the FM radio you'll need a wired set.

A bluetooth that has wireless stereo capability is awesome for watching movies and listening to music. You'll defiantly want to upgrade with one of the cooked roms, read up on them starting with the leaked rom. Wozzer's winmo 6.5 rom is GREAT, I don't need any other UI I really like 6.5 so far.

I've been looking at those, I think it'd be great for GPS. I'll be grabbing a 8 or 16 GB card depending what prices I find. I really want a bluetooth headset, but I worry about audio quality and comfort. Suggestions of bluetooth headsets?

Make sure to look online for memory cards... i find them so much cheeper than B&M.

Also, as was mentioned, check out the cooked roms... there's a few others over at PPC Geeks. Adrynalyne's ROM is my fave! Also, get a good back up program... I use SPB, but I've heard Resco is a good one too.
