Guest Th3rmal Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Start doing a rom update, then pull the cord out half way.

Good thing I haven'nt sent mine back yet then. I'll be watching for how to brick it then.
Guest TheJanitor Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Would they really accept that? I think my screen has some problems caused by pressure and this seems like an easy out.
Guest lastnikita Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 maybe you could post in the i910 forum instead ? :-/
Guest Rooster Misfit Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 plug it in to the wall and drop it in water.. fry the hell out if it... plug it in to the wall without the converter....... play hockey with it?
Guest ardvarkofdoom Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 maybe you could post in the i910 forum instead ? :-/ I'm pretty sure you can brink either i900 or i910 the same way..... Hell, speaking of which, just flash a i900 rom to it!
Guest lastnikita Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 I'm pretty sure you can brink either i900 or i910 the same way..... Hehe sure, then the title could be changed into "nothing interesting except for a few users, but hey you can help too !" :D
Guest AngusATAT Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 (edited) Hehe sure, then the title could be changed into "nothing interesting except for a few users, but hey you can help too !" :D The i910 forum is specifically for ROM discussion. Hence, this thread wouldn't belong there. Edited May 14, 2009 by AngusATAT
Guest Tim-H Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 maybe you could post in the i910 forum instead ? :-/ This is the i9x0 forum. Don't be a dick. I know the original ROM is around here somewhere too, you could either flash back to it or do what the others are saying and pull the plug half way through. Just do it with the CC20, not the cooked ones because if you pull the plug on a cooked one it wont brick the phone, it will just cripple it.
Guest lastnikita Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 The i910 forum is specifically for ROM discussion. Hence, this thread wouldn't belong there. Sorry, just realised that :-/ Don't be a dick Very mature, clap-clap, you're today's winner !
Guest R10T Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Yank the battery during a Rom update would prolly work too. Dropping it in water wouldn't be a good idea since they don't cover water damage. Or play some music for a while..or something with high power demand..get it really warm then try to update the rom while its nice and toasty. And if all else fails try updating it with a PC running ME....I know active sync prolly didn't exist then. Ok its late I'm rambling and I need some rest......
Guest kav Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 (edited) topic is very misguiding, lot of people seeing it are hoping for good news but then its all abt killing an omnia.... probably the topic of the thread should be changed to something else like: How to destroy ur omnia permanently :D or " Dont try this at home !!, alone or unsupervised! " LOL Edited May 15, 2009 by kav
Guest Draconius Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Like others are saying...yank the cord, or if you KNOW you have a USB 1.0 try flashing the CC20 onto it since this has been discovered to brick the phone.
Guest forelli Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Start doing a rom update, then pull the cord out half way. +1

Guest Rooster Misfit Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 maybe you could post in the i910 forum instead ? :-/ there is a forum foor the i910 specifically? thats kinda dumb since thiis one says i9x0 the x meanig any numkmber
Guest bpivk Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 (edited) there is a forum foor the i910 specifically? thats kinda dumb since thiis one says i9x0 the x meanig any numkmberNo. They don't have a seperate forum. But they do have a seperate rom section because it helps to prevent the clutter of different rom topics. Edited May 16, 2009 by bpivk
Guest kav Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009   :( This is more like it.. the topic of the thread is really fitting now :D LOL
Guest nollie Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Pour acid on it. Then drill it. Then blow-torch the hell out of it. Jackhammer it. Drag it behind your car, or wheelspin with it under a tyre. Blow-torch it some more. Place it in a vice and tighten. Take some electro-magnets to it while on. Microwave it. Blow-torch it just to make sure. Then try a ROM Update while in water and pull the cable out whilst updating.
