troubles with win mo device center on vista ultimate and omnia

everything was working fine when i connect my omnia via usb to my pc running vista ultimate eternity, excet just a few days ago, it started behaving strangely.

when i connect the omnia, it recognises it and connects to win mo device center, but the problem is that after about 5 min it disconnects by itself, and there is no charging going on by the usb port either...

i tried to figure out what was wrong with my pc, but then found out that the real problem comes from the omnia.

because of this problem, i could not copy any big file that would take longer than 5 min to copy from my pc. that was quite frustrating.

it solved the problem by actually disabling the advanced network functionality in the settings-connections-usb2pc.

now it stays connected as long as i dont unplug the omnia.

just sharing some solution to a problem that i had, hope this helps to people having similar issues.
