i guess i'm going to try loading a rom this weekend . how do i backup my phone i have spb backup is this good enough. i wanted to try wozzers 6.5. what all do i need i have i910WM6.1.REV10.CC20.VZW, UMDL_OMNIA_v2.3(2) and FlashOS 6.5 M2D.02 thanks for any help in advance

yes, you need the CC20 firmware flash first, there are instructions all over on how to do this and precautions to look for (use a USB 2.0 port for one.)

flashing to those ROMS is also slighty different in UMDL as one uses the "unified image" and the other is just the "pda" image, so keep that in mind! It takes a bit of patience and carefulness, but its rather easy to do. note that the phones storage memory gets wiped, but the "My Storage" 8GB will stay intact.

If you are going to use MS3 I would probably not use the M2D rom, Use the Lite or Naked rom instead. M2D (touchFlo) is a pretty "bloated" shell and if you are putting spb mobile shell 3.0 on there instead there is no reason to install M2Din the first place. It will save you like 30MB of storage space on your device memory. The mew WinMo 6.5 GUI is pretty slick too though, i've ditched M2D for that, atm.
