Hello Have Some Questions i910 Verizon

Hello i Believe this is my first post on this site so Hello :D ,

Now have a few questions about the i910

1. is there a way to remove the verizon crap ie: app zone, VZ nav ( i do use the visual voice mail) i ask because i want to be able to load m2d with a skin & have a contact app like icontact or pocketcm and still have system data.

2. goes with question 1 can the samsung overlay be removed? ie: samsung wigdets, samsung theme 1 & 2, Verizon theme, samsung today.

3. have looked at alot of diffrent win 6.5 roms between xda, ppc, samsung-omina, and a few others, has any been used that is stablie with the i910?

4. why o why did samsung make a phone with 8gb of on board stoarge but a main systems mem of less then 100mb is it possable to port the main files onto the stoarge or load the os on the 8gb stoarge insted of the wimpy 92mb? im sure theres a good reason why samsung did it but if we could have 8gb of systems data then they would be almost no limit to how many skins or apps u could have.

i do like this phone a see some potional in it but it also has some designed flaws that make me a sad panda :lol:

Hello and welcome to the forums. Yes to all. You first need to flash to the leaked CC20 ROM then flah to any of the cooked 6.1 ROMS. I use adrynalyne's myself. Those ROMS get rid of all the Verizon crap, are plenty stable and give you a ton of open space on device memory. So check out the I910 ROM specific forum on the top of the main page here and it will have a thread saying start here for Rom flashing or something like that and go from there. Have fun and welcome to the addiciting hobby of Phone Flashing/Tweaking :D

I have already done the CC20 & was looking at wozzers flash to remove stuff i wasent sure on the rom & what i would change in the CC20 but u answers my question before i had to ask, :lol: any who i like m2d & skins just wondering which contact app u would suggest i did like pocketcm but they dont qvga yet :lol: i have seen the icontact but havent used it much,

O i like a black dialer i found but it has some flaws do u have any suggestions on dailer replacment. basicly i like the omnia but disslike most of the samsung software.

Anything you install can go onto the My Storage (8GB) part of the phone. I run all my programs from there and save everything there too. All you have to do is select My Storage instead of My Device.

well so i have been a busy beaver so i have running now: CC20, Wozzer 6.5 rom with M2D and its all running well so far im now wondering if anyone has used S2U2 with win 6.5 im trying that next also im going to load icontacts so hopefully it will all work :D
