Guest Omnia-Winker Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Its quite slow and the UI is not intended for the Omnia yet. it displays but they recommend it on a htc touch. so I guess the resolution goes hand in hand, however I have it working, so if anyone else can try and report back. W URL to download page http://blog.mozilla.com/blassey/2009/05/15...windows-mobile/ and I know its only ALPHA..
Guest Omega Ra Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 I tried it on my i910 earlier, and yes very slow. Far to slow to be usable at this point, at least on the omnia. Installed it takes up like 25MB of space and uses ~150kb or RAM when running. When you try to bring up some menus you can't see everything (theres that resolution thing) so until it is reworked a little and fits the Omnia a little better I'll be sticking with Opera. Though I do hope they get it working as I like firefox and the add-ons (which are there in Fennec)

To be fair to Mozilla crew they do state all the above on the wiki....which is good...... I think the size and speed will be rectified in later releases. I mean compared to the last release this is gr8. Thanks for posting.

Guest Takarin Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 From what I could see on my screen, it looked promising. There's a long way to go, but I think Mozilla will get it right.
