Help me find/program some useful software (HTC things)!

There are a few things that HTC phones have that I would really love to have on my Omnia. There are cabs for them here http://mbarvian.freehostia.com/ but none of them actually work. So the question is, are there alternatives available?

The app I want most is something that fires up when I plug my USB cable in. Instead of just running active sync, or USB, to pop up with a menu so you can select how you want to sync. See OpalUSBtoPC in my link.

Anyone know of anything that could help? :D

The other two apps are a big finger menu for the stuff on the start bar when you touch it and a better phone interface like with the HTC.
