did changeskins 4.1.2 - now my icons are missing

so i just upgraded to the 4.1.2 version of changeskins for SPB mobile shell 3.1 beta. and suddenly many of my icons are gone. it seems to be random... the thumbcal icons for adding new appointments and task list are still there, but the month view is gone. the camera icon is still there but the picture icon is gone. the opera and pocketwit icons are still there but the favorites and file explorer icons are gone. all of these are icons in my lifestyle screen and they've all been replaced by the generic "win32 application" icon.

now, if i go to my programs/launcher screen, it's a different story. those icons are GONE. nothing there at all but the words "organizer", "internet", "multimedia" etc. clicking in the place where the icon used to be still gets results, so functionally everything seems ok (knock on wood) but my icons are GONE.

obviously i'm about to uninstall changeskin, just wondered if any other users had similar experiences. i like changeskin, but spb 3 makes them much more of a luxury than a necessity.

UPDATE: changeskin uninstalled, all icons back to normal. weird. the one thing i really really like about changeskin is the way is changes the launcher. hopefully they get this sorted out soon.

i got that too, until i actually read the readme (which i hardly ever do) and overwrote the old files with the updated ones. entirely possible that i did it wrong and that caused my icon disappearance. either way, with my recent discovery of the professional widgets for the lifestyle screen, i might not really need changeskins for anything anymore.

I went and played outside for a while and came back to give it a fresh try.....seems to be working properly for me. If I notice anything buggy, I'll speak up.

I did the same s*** yesterday, but i quickly figured out that it was Spb fault, then reinstaled it. it's all workin' now.
