I've upgraded my Omnia's firmware using i900DXIA5 ROM (Philippines version) and viewed a tutorial of the omnia with the so called "improvements". One of which is a Samsung Mobile Navigator intended as a GPS software. I've searched the menu, even the windows folder but couldn't find where this is. Anyone knows if this is just a mistake in the video? I've used Sprite Backup to restore my settings after the upgrade and I have might have overwritten the new software :D

So it's not pre-installed in the ROM as the video has apparently implied?

This is an optional GPS program (Garmin Mobile Navigator) provided by your mobile network operator. In South Africa all Samsung Omnia comes with this program no matter what operator you are with (Think this is a deal between Samsung South Africa and Garmin), and the program is preloaded on a 8g Sandisk TF card in your box.

In Belgium you can buy different packs. The Samsung omnia millionaires pack includes the navigator.

Go to ebay, you can get a copy of a good navigator (I got iGO8 - its awesome) for under $30... or if all else fails, u can just use Google maps' GPS feature <_<

In Saudi Arabia, you get Samsung mobile navigator (route 66) in a CD inside the package.
