SO after the 6.5 update, the Internet sharing program works FANTASTIC. Now I tried to Run my xbox 360 off of my laptop, with it tethered to my omnia. I get an error message sayin something like. Internet sharing cannot be enabled, something about automatic settings already being used by lan. So what to do? <_<

Hmmm... Did you actually bridge the connection on your laptop? Don't have 6.5 but I was able to run my 360 off of my computer via phone before

Hey all, you seem to be getting your INTERNET SHARING on your Omnia working fine. I would like to find out from you if you are using the USB connection between PC or Xbox to Omnia. Are you using any software application for your PC/Xbox to Omnia connection for internet sharing? Have you previously installed any WinMobile hotfixes or patches? If yes, could you help to list them or point me to a site that contain the essential patches? I am facing some issues with Omnia's INTERNET SHARING http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...ed-to-internet/. Hope you could help shed some light on any tips and tricks to get your internet sharing work so well. Thanks in advance.,

No, you can't hook up your Omnia to your Xbox and expect anything to happen <_<

I'm using the windows 7 beta (build 7057) and bridging (sp?) the LAN and Omnia's ICS is as simple as highlighting the two, right-clicking and selecting "Bridge Connections". Then, give the network bridge (Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network Sharing Center>Change Adapter Settings) a static ip in the 192.168.0.x range if using usb, and do the same in your xbox's settings and enjoy a terrible, laggy experience!
