Accessing contacts from phone app

When I use the phone - my contacts are not available as a menu option - from the menu softkey on the right in the phone application. It does have a "company directory" option - but I have no idea what that is and it is empty. Is there a way to add my primary contacts as a menu option or, as a work around, to populate this "company directory" with my contacts?

I can get to my contacts by dropping the windows flag and selecting from the standard WinMo menu - but that is annoying. They are also listed on the screen below, but you have to scroll rather than being able to enter a name to search.

Using the default Samsung Dialer? If so, you can hit "Hide Keypad" on the left softkey, and it'll drop down to show a a full contact list if you scroll down. Maybe not the best option, but works, and its already there.

But i have no idea what this "Company Contacts" thing is your talking about IF your using the default dialer...
