NO SOUND AT ALL AFTER UNINSTYALLING SRS WOW AND R2VS FROM OMNIA

HEY GUYS,

I DID THE STUPID THING AND INSTALLED 2 APPS ON MY OMNIA; SRS WOW, AND R2VS TO GET BETTER SOUND EXPERIENCE... OK.. FINE.., BUT...

1ST ISSUE: DEVICE WOULD FAIL TO WAKE UP UNLESS YOU DO A SOFT RESET

2ND ISSUE: SOMETIMES R2VS CRASHES OR BEHAVES WEIRD

3RD ISSUE: TRIED TO UNINSTALLED BOTH - SRS AND R2VS..

AFTER I REBOOTED THE DEVICE I REALIZED THAT THERE WAS NO SOUND AT ALL, GRRR, I WAS GOING NUTS, DIDNT WANT TO DO A FACTORY RESET. I THOUGHT OF REINSTALLING ONE OF THEM. R2VS AND BINGO, I HAVE SOUND NOW. BUT I DONT WANT THAT SILLY APP ON MY PHONE, I WANT TO GET RID OF IT, IF I DO THOUGH, I WILL LOOSE SOUND AGAIN.

IS THERE SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO GAIN SOUND BACK AGAIN WITHOUT HAVING TO DO A HARD RESET?

PLEASE ADVICE..

1) install only R2VS and soft reset

or

2) hard rest

Using your favorite reg editor go to:

HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev

and change "Dll" to: zylonite_wavedev2.dll

and soft-reset

I changed it, didnt see any difference though, what is suppose to happen? I had sound before i edited that, I just wanted to uninstall the R2VS completely and get the default sound device etc. Do i uninstall the r2vs after i edit the reg entry? and will i have sound after that>?

I was trying out the RVS thing and SRS HD, with the suggested reg patch which supposed to fix the crash/not waking up problem, after numerous installation and uninstall of both program/patch/reg edit, my phone will not wake up properly even after I deleted all the reg keys that was added. Hard reset my phone Friday night......

Uninstall both SRS WOW and R2VS, then change that registry entry and you get sound again.
