FM radio without headphones

Is there some radio that would work without headphones? I am not asking about Resco internet radio. I know that the headphones are the antenna, so please do not comment about those things. I was just asking if there is a way to activate or install some other radio that would work without the headphones.

The radio is hardware which can't be changed.

The alternative is Software which would be via something via the network or WiFi if you are close to one.

There are some websites which provide lists of web accessible streaming sites. Wouldn't help much for local non-streamed sites though.

Yeah but the radio is inside the phone, the cable is just an antenna. There has to be a way to program a piece of software to access the radio by bypassing the antenna killswitch. I'm pretty sure thats what he means.

My FM Radio works via the speakerphone as long as the antenna adapter is connected.

on a realated note, or maybe the same. Has anyone figured out how to get the bluetooth to work with the radio without buying a 3.5 BT adapter and plugging it into teh antenna.

You can, but you need to modify the the connector.

For some hints have a look at the omnia tmc thread. I made my antenna by modifying the connector and the pin outs.
