Guest Paul Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Tonight sees the premiere of the first ever HTC television commercial. To be screened on Film4 at 8.56pm tonight, the commercial forms part of a six-month campaign on Film4 to showcase the new devices, including the Touch Diamond2 as well as raising the profile and awareness of HTC and the fantastic product range. Go HTC! <_< *does silly dance* P Edit: It aired... and here it is! Edit 2: Second one aired... and here it is too! Guest RiCoCheT Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Wow A telly ad for a windows mobile device? Well I never! Sets pvr to record for the first time ever, an advert! Cheers Phill Think I might be doing the same, wonder why they chose Film 4, how many viewers do they (NOT) get in comparison to the other mainstream channels
Guest Shuflie Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) Did't get to see it, but as usual someone has thought to put it up on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4f6HqkTspU. Just noticed the username of the poster, wouldn't be Mono would it? Edited May 19, 2009 by Shuflie

Guest Shuflie Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Added my rip of the ad in the first post... P Says its a private video and make sure to accept a friend request?
Guest Monolithix Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Just noticed the username of the poster, wouldn't be Mono would it? Nope...! Bit of a disappointment as ad's go imho. Also is it just me that thinks he sounds Australian at the end?
Guest l3v5y Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Why didn't they mention people centric communication at all?!? It rocks so hard! <_<
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Will this finally be a head on attack on apple advertising? Maybe a bit late in the day but iphone only became commercially well known with advertising and one thing MS/phone manufacturers always let slip.
Guest Paul Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 So general concensus of opinion is 'better than nothing'? <_< I lked it, the end made me chuckle! P
Guest Paul Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Nope...! Bit of a disappointment as ad's go imho. Also is it just me that thinks he sounds Australian at the end? Scottish no? P
Guest greenturtle Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 I WAS THERE WHEN THEY FILMED THIS AT WATERLOO STATION. I walked past a guy in front of a camera crew who was 'on the phone' and I thought to myself, hmm that looks like a Touch Diamond2. The sad thing was, I could only see the back and I identified it...
Guest Paul Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Haha cool! <_< Here's the second in the series that aired last night! P ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340">
Guest Shuflie Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 So basically what they are saying is that the TD2 is for people who forget their anniversary, yet despite being able to enter it as an all day event in their calendars they couldn't workout how to set a reminder a day or week before the event? <_<
Guest Paul Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Yeah... and for when both partners would prefer to go out with their mates on their anniversary...? <_< P
Guest UnLoCkSmItH Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Yeah... and for when both partners would prefer to go out with their mates on their anniversary...? B) P If this was the apprentice... Alan wud sure say "YOU'RE FIRED" Its really pathetic. They should have contacted Paul in advance. They would have had some excellent ideas and feedback from the users here. Do you want to start a thread Paul for the ultimate HTC advert ideas?? <_< :)
