Maybe this isn't the correct place to post the question but I thought I'd see what words of wisdom you can provide.

I've successfully flashed the cc20 rom and got GPS working a few times (yeah!!)

Is there a program I can install on the i910 that will allow my wife to track me via a website or SMS other than Google Latitude?

Thanks.

Not that I know of.. Would you really want her to, anyway? <_<

Oh yes....GPS tracking and call forwarding combined makes for really good alibis. <_<

I followed one of the sponsored links which eventually led me to Sprint family tracker which would be perfect, but I'm with Verizon.

I use GPSGate and setup a push to my own server where I wrote a very simple static Google map tool that plots my location in a mobile web format that can be viewed on my wife and other family members phones.

Works great.

GPSGate is not free, but then I didn't have to write that part.

I used to use it with my external BT GPS... now I can use it with my internal GPS (i910 Leaked Rom).

There are a number of services and apps that can do the same (including GPSGate which has their own solution). Most are not free though.

wow you guys must have some very untrustworthy wives!

This would be REALLY interesting if there was a GPS tracking program you could install on your phone that allowed you to remotely activate it somehow by a phonecall, IM, email, VNC or something.

This would be really useful if you lose your phone if someone steals it.

well you could use gippos aswell, it's basicly a gps chat program so you can lookup other WiMo's (with this program) but when your wife would go to the main page (www.gippos.com) and fills in your Gippos ID she could track you from there and see you on the map moving around but ur still kinda safe when you are inside a building though <_<

Google Latitude works for about a day and then just locks my phone (along with Gippos and Gloposis.)

TrackMe just locks it right away as soon as I start it.

GuardMobile looks like my next try.

Thanks to all for the responses. I can imagine this would be great for parents/kids as well.
