I can't seem to find it but I thought there was a post here or something about installing all of your apps with one cab file? Does that ring a bell at all? Would be really helpful if it was possible to do with all the new roms coming out. Thanks in advance.

thats not possible unless someone installs all programs in that one cab.... each app is loaded on by a cab file.... if you were to put a bunch of apps in one cab and set it up to load that way... it would take more work making that happen than actually installing each app separately

Eh... it would be nice to have a mass installer... I've been addicted to flashing my phone lately, so having to one by one install apps gets to be a pain... but that's the price you pay to get your phone the way you want it <_<

install cab via activesync (google)

go to mobile center, click more on program than you'll se icon add/remove programs

click it and you will see all programs that you have installed through cab via activesync and exe files.

yust tick the ones you like and they will install one after another, but probably you will have to do soft reset after that

cya <_<

why would you install cabs you already have installed?

this is a very bad idea for 1 cab install.

1. conflicts might come during installation, use of the phone.

2. if you want to uninstall 1 application you have to uninstall all of them lol

Doing it that way can create conflicts in the registry and with other files on the device installed due to rom. Especially say you are going from a 6.1 ROM to a 6.5 ROM

Most likely he is a "frequent flasher", like myself (not the trenchcoat wearing type, the ROM type). I doubt he is interested in multiple installations of the same cabs, just a guess. I too would like an easier method of "rebuilding" my phone after a flash.

nevermind Rooster <_< , now I see the point of your post after reading down the thread.

So is it true, that if I am absolutely happy with my current Wozzers 6.5 v2 setup (as I am!), and I use SPB Backup, that if i wanted to flash the Wozzers v3 or any later roms, that I could simply restore my v2 backup and I would experience my perfect setup, just on a newer rom? If I had issues, could I simply flash back to v2 and once again restore my backup?

SBPBackup - is the best app for flashtard

backup all and restore all. including your email, application and settings, system files, registry, cache, cookies, passwords (it also have option whether to backup all or few)

it will put everything in one backup_<date>.exe file that you can put in memory card or storage mem.

After you finished flashing new ROM, just click this exe file and everything will be restored in the new rom. even without installing sbpbackup.cab in advance.

Try it, it is way easier than sashimi or UC.

If you really want to reinstall everything easily after a flash try this....

http://www.winmo-experts.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4

this thread talks about it some

http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...or-the-dummies/

I've got is set up to reinstall everything after a hard reset or flash, and to make a bunch of my favorite changes to the settings.

In all after a flash it takes me about 15 min to get everything the way I like it including installing 20+ cabs

Try it. Once you get it set up right it's freakin awesome. <_< :) B)
