Guest Core Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Originally my omnia had a not so good touch screen as it wasn’t too sensitive, now I had it replaced and now its very sensitive, I only need to very lightly touch the screen to make it respond which is very good, but the problem is its too easy to press the wrong key when typing as its so sensitive, so does anyone know of a way to automatically make the screen less sensitive when typing.
Guest NewKlNGjames Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 The only thing that I can think of would be to realign the screen. I read somewhere when to push as lightly as you can on the screen and that it'll make the sensitivity much higher. I assume that if you do the oposite, pushing down harder, that it'll make it less responsive. won't hurt to try.

There isn't any way to make it less sensitive, just for typing it is a globe setting. You can go into the registry and change it to be less sensitive, but you will loose sensitivity across the board.

Guest Core Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Well first time I done it myself but the screen wouldn’t come on lol so I had it repaired for £50 which is not too bad. If you’re thinking of doing it best to have it done for you as its only £45, its worth having done as its so sensitive, I’m getting used to typing now just have to be careful to put finger centre of key
