watch movies with tv out small screen

Hi, i saw a thread yesterdat about TCPMP OMNIA PHENOM EDITION 2 so i ordered a TV-out cable from PDA-shop.nl, http://www.pdashop.nl/product/60488/56584/...-out-cable.html

Today i received it and just tested it, when i connect the cable it is only vertical screen, zo no side bars on my 16:10 screen, when i open a movie with TCPMP omnia phenom 2 and put it in full screen, the screen is rotating, but still in the vertical screen (i use it for the subtitles) when i use the camera, it IS in full screen and 16:10... any one got a solution so i can play movies with subtitles full screen?

I use SHOKKA9 WM 6.5 M2D roms 21215

crazy... idont know what to tell you... did you make sure you have the region settings on your phone set for your area... you can do that in the settings menu under TV out i think. i never had any problem like that mine worked right away but im on the basic rom so i dont know if it would have anything to do with any flashing or not

hmm, it's working now, i used the tmcp in landscape mode and it worked, but still the movie is too much stretched vertical (16:10, 16:9 4:3 etc problem i guess)

well if you are playing a dvd quality movie then it wont matter cause it will come out in the quality of the movie so it can stretch more than the menu and home screen can

You can use the Fill screen option - I think that`ll do the job?! <_<

looking for some help...all is appreciated... i ordered what i believe are samsung omnia i900/910 tv out cables off ebay (thats what it says in description but it is from hong kong?) they just arrived today...the problem is when i plug the cable into my omnia the sound goes thru the tv (i can hear a kinda beep/ring thru tv speakers when i connect or disconnect cable) but i get no video, only audio...just dont tell me this cable is bootleg although it may be a samsung tv out cable but for wrong phone...the cable fits nicely in omnia and i tried a switcheroo with the tv end of the cable with no success with the video...thx in advance...
