Guest vaquin Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Hello all, I got some problems with my sisters samsung omnia i900. She said that she got the message when she started her phone to install multilanguage files etc. The phone soft-reset and when it started a screen called "download mode" came up and said: Do not turn off. It takes about 10 minutes. The thing is now that she says it didint take 10 minutes for it to install because it didint install anything. After a while it died out of battery and now when she tries to start it up the Omnia Screen appear and then this "download Mode" then it closes down again and reboots and over and over again until the battery is empty. Anyone know what to do?, ive tried to hard-reset it the way with the reset button etc but it dosent work. How can i acess the phone or simply hard-reset it, anyone who's hade this problem also? Thanks in advance!
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Have you read the important topic - The ways to hard-reset omnia <_< - THIS ONE
Guest Number22 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Her flashing the ROM ("multilinguage files") went bad somehow. Charge the phone up and try to flash a custom rom from the I900 ROM section (or if you don't like the custom ones, download an official one from Samsung's site).
Guest vaquin Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 The thing is that if I want to download an offical rom, I don't know which my version my omnia has in the phone because i can't acess it <_<
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 It doesn`t matter - go into the ROM section and find the DXIA5 original - update it and you`re done <_<
