Creating Shortcuts

I have programs stored on my microsd card, that I use often. It's pretty inconvenient to go through all the file explorer menus. Is there any way to create a shortcut to an exe file in storage?

resco explorer is much better than the stock file browser. it has a 'create start menu shortcut' option. total commander is free but i dont know if it makes shortcuts.
