Touch Screen Strange Problem

Hi,

since a couple of days, I have a strange problem with my I900 :

When I touch the start button, nothing happens.

When I touch the screen near the border, yes, start menu expands.

I used LCDTest (*#0*#) code and yes, touching the screen, nothing

is plot.

I tried calibrating the screen but it loops in calibrating.

The strange thing is when I open program explorer, Total Commander,

the SAME "unresponsive" zone of the screen works like a charm. ???

So, does not look like HW problem.

Looks like something did remap start button zone

Any idea what's going wrong ? Virus ?

I had my screen replaced for similar problem. Try once with Hard Reset, if it doesn't work, take it to service center.

Hello,

Tried hard reset. Till reboot and msg "Tab on screen to start configuring device", all was ok.

It is now looping on align screen and does not go further .... :-(

you need a new screen, i just had my omnia replaced for a similar issue.
