Guest Bazz Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 The phone is locked to the Orange network. Check out here for a hack around it: http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=897
Guest Ed Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 This is exactly what I did to get my contacts off my Vodafone SIM and onto the SPV. From there I can copy back onto my Orange SIM. Lovely badword job.
Guest Big Ron - No Longer a Mem Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Oddly enough, a workaround is also described in Guy Kewney's review of the phone (although I can't recall if it was his review for ZDNET or for PCW) Note that ZD NET's review of the SPV gave it a score 0.2 lower than their current review of the SE G800... Guest Bouger Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 mate, pop into your local Orange branch and ask them to copy them onto your new sim for you via their memory mate service it copies any network sims once on your orange you can work with the contacts option
