'Google Local Search' is missing from Garmin Mobile XT!

After using garmin mobile xt for about a month, my favorite feature ,the 'Google Local Search' is missing from the application!

I dont know what happened, and i dont know how to get it back...I really dont feeling reinstallling...

Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe there is a setting that im overloking to get this feature back?

I really hate searching using the POI's. The online search is faster and more up to date.

Same thing happens to me. I start with 9 selections, but for no apparent reason, all that is showing is sometimes is Weather, Panoramio Photos, Flight Status and Subscription Status. I'm missing Traffic, Weather, Fuel Prices, Local Search (google) and Photo Navigation.

If I select "Subscription Status", all 9 show back up again, however, they still will disappear for no known reason and then I can't get them back even if I hit "Subscription Status."

Ive selected subscription status (Garmin Online -> Subscription status) , then it displayed all the features (Google local search, etc), then i exited out of subscription status and 'Google Local Search' is back! This worked for me <_<.

depends on the location u are, some features like the fuel prices, weather, local google search etc.. are available in only some locations, UK or US and the rest is the whole of Europe and US. I live in europe and when it gets a fix on my location, the options to fuel prices disappear but if i enter a location in the US then the option appears again.

besides, are u guys using legally subscribed version of garmin XT ? :)

when ever u enter the subscription tab, it shows all the features again since the subscription is for all the features regardless of location, while availabillity of the features is location dependent.
