Setting up Softbank S!Mail on my Omnia i900

Has anyone been able to get Softbank S!Mail to work on their Omnia`s? I bought a 3g prepaid phone when I first arrived in Japan, the Sim works fine in my Omnia for making calls etc it cannot download/send S!Mail (Softbanks form of MMS/email)... I`ve tried following various guides on the net but I can`t find one that actually works... Was wondering if anyone has successfully managed to get it working... Ideally without having to flash to a different ROM...

Yeah I tried installing that, didn`t seem to like my omnia, after installing I lost normal messaging completely, and when I tried to install his version of manila 2d it wouldn`t even show up in the Today customize screen.... Would also try MMSLite but that relies on you having the softbank basic internet package, which is not available on prepaid.
