omnia data port

the data port for the omnia. is it the same as most of the other samsung phones or is this data port made specifically for the omnia? this is the first samsung phone i have ever used and i dont know anyone else with one... im just wondering if my AV cables will work in another samsung phone

I tested the samsung j700's charger and it didnt fit in the omnia data port.

But the omnias earphone and charger works with the j700 hmmm.

It appears that it shares the data port with a few other models, well at least the same power pins and porttype. I had bought an igo charger with tip A129 and that fits a ton of phones. I'm not certain if you could use other accessories from them but the charger works for sure, as I tested it personally. It's always worth trying other samsung cables though.

didnt even think about checking the samsung site till after i posted... but this is what i found when i looked up the AV cables on their site

"Compatible Samsung Phones : Omnia (SCH-i910), FlipShot (SCH-u900), Memoir (SGH-T929)"

now im in america so it just lists the i910 and other phones that are available here.. would any of you from other countries like to go to the site and find the av cables and see what else it says for phones
