Need to restart phone everytime to connect via activesync?

It seems like everytime when I want to connect to my PC or Netbook via USB, either as USB mass storage or active sync, I need to connect the USB cable and restart the phone before it can establish successful connection. And if it's disconnected and I want to connect again via USB, it will prompt USB device not recognized. I am sure this is not a computer problem as I tried on different computers. And I am using Shokka9's WM6.5 21210.

Anyone might know a way to fix this?

go to settings/connections/

if there is a usb to pc icon in there open that and disable advanced network functionality(something like that) it will slow down the transfer rate though.

If this isnt the problem then i dont know what it could be.
