Guest pw-man Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Just checking to see if I am the only one... I using one of the cooked roms (will try to find a few minutes to flash the c220 original back and test)... using the latest 3.01 version on Mobile Shell.... None of my ringtones work... that is, when someone is calling, it doesn't ring. I get the callerid display and it vibrates... but nothing else... I checked the usual suspects such as making sure the volume is up and that a ring tone is selected (both in the Phone settings and in the default profile in MS) as well as tried setting contact specific ring tones as well... Nothing... Thanks for either confirmation or insight into a fix! pw-man
Guest Tim-H Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 (edited) You have to go into the phone settings and change it there. For some reason winmo doesnt see all the ringtones that MS3 does. Move whatever ringtones you want into my documents/ringtones folder in the main memory and then go to settings/system/sounds and notifications and set your ringtone there. If that doesnt fix it then its probably a program you installed. Edited May 31, 2009 by Tim-H

Guest kiotu Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Hi pw-man, actually i'm using i900 but i had the same issue with SPB mshell 3.0.1, I'm not sure if the cause was the same, but on my omnia after installing SPB MShell 3.0.1 the the ringtones doesn't work although it vibrates and after i check the ringtone page in MS (use the carousel and flip to edit profile page) it turned out that the ringer volume was defaulted to mute (the ringer volume vertical slider goes all the way to the left, although in taskbar volume setting i was sure to have it set to full), so i pull the slider to the right...and it went OK... just as i said i'm not sure if the cause was the same..but in my case it's kinda silly though... <_<..
