Wake Up Alarm

After setting the alarm time and switching off the phone, my alarm does not activate.

Has anyone else had/have this problem and what is the solution?

i assume you are pressing the power button briefly and not actually turning the phone off?

I know sony ericssons turn themselves back on if there is a scheduled alarm but pretty sure winmo phones dont.

I noticed that as well. The alarm on my old Sony Erisson used to come on even when the phone was switched off, but on my Omnia the alarm only seems to work when the phone is on.

If you turn off your desktop computer do you expect that a reminder application will activate?

This is the same situation - turning off phone with Windows Mobile onboard (when you see turn off animation) is like turning off desktop computer.
