Guest Rdy2Go Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 (edited) Awaiting refreshed ROMs with this build from emulator <_< )) Edited June 4, 2009 by Rdy2Go
Guest sector Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Please dont confuse the people. 21234 is old news and already roms were made with this build. As far as we know now the builds are passed to the developers. 215XX is for Samsung 216XX is for HTC 217XX unknown, most probably other developers. The first official rom will be released in July. That's it.
Guest ronaldb3 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Awaiting refreshed ROMs with this build from emulator <_< )) Rdy2Go, I see you have not posted since February. You have a lot of catching up to do if you have been away since then. Check the first couple of posts on several of the cooks threads and you will see the great number of roms that have been cooked for us. You will see during the second half of May there were several for build 21234. There was a major jump in build number just recently from 212xx to 21725. Microsoft must be getting close to a final release (probably first of several for them the way they work). Ron...
Guest Rdy2Go Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Please dont confuse the people. Thanks for your explanation. Visual Studio developers will use 21234.5.0.1 for development using emulator provided by MS. In other words applications developed against this build are expected to work on final WM 6.5 devices. It might mean there are no breaking changes in APIs etc. between this build and another, but it's just my opinion.
Guest Rdy2Go Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Rdy2Go, I see you have not posted since February. [/quite] That's because I always read before I post <_< I'm fully aware there are newer builds but emulator I downloaded today has the "old" 21234 build. I think there may be several code branches for different devices (sector is probably right) or that stable branch for WM6.5 is closed and newer builds are created towards WM 7 (intermediary builds). It was the same between WM 6.0 and WM 6.1 (still remember my old Kaiser TYTN II days).
Guest sector Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I think the newest builds are just bug fixes, code debugging and optimizations from developers. Also 21234 could be the base for developing drivers for device specifics.

Did you compare this build (on binary level) from emulator with the build you used too cook ROM? Are they identical?
