Guest spaghetina Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 I'm not sure if all the Omnia i900's default this way, but whenever I enter a contact's address into my device, the country is always defaulted to Australia. I wouldn't find it so annoying or confusing except that 1. I don't live in Australia, and 2. according to my ROM version, this is a Singaporean model. Is there any way to get my phone to stop defaulting to Australia in the address field?? I'd prefer it just default to the United States, but I'd be fine with having the field be totally blank also. Another curious thing, when I first used Opera Mobile to navigate to Altavista, it defaulted me to the Australian site also. I managed to change that, but why does everything my phone touches seem to think that it's in Australia?
Guest aceofrazgriz Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 Under [settings -> System -> Regional Settings] check to see if your language is set to "English (Australia)" This would easily explain why it would default things to Australia for ya.
Guest Bulldogs Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 That could work, or if all else fails, just move to Australia <_<
