Thinking of upgrading from my Omnia

I really would like to stay with the WiMo OS, since there is so many good stuff you can use for it... im mainly looking for better video quality (True Color, screen sharpness etc) and gaming, as the omnia doesnt have a 3d accelerator...

The HTC HD looks good, can any one give any feedbacks on this?

IF there is another phone that you guys recomend please do so.

eh any uprgrade would be minimal atm as omnia is still up there with current specs, I'm going to wait til something really good comes out like WINMO 7

Before I bought an Omnia I wanted an HD but it was too expensive, so I didn`t get it and don`t regret it <_< I love the Omnia and`ll change it only if Omnia HD has winmo :)

Sadly it doesn't :D

I've even more screwed being in the US, we seem to get crap compared to the rest of the world's cell selection. imo at least, it seems to limited/hampered.

But as said, theres alot of good stuff coming out in the near future, just wait a bit and keep an eye out. with any tech product, i always advise wait a few months after something is out before you take the plunge, just to make sure its not a dud, and to give time for bugs and such to get fixed <_<

Can't afford another new phone anyway, and am happy with my Omnia i900.

I have a 16Gb i900 and I'm more than happy with it, my cousin just got a 5800 XM, I'll be checking the phone in the next couple of days and one of my best mates is getting an N97(when it's released) I also played around on a HTC Touch HD and wasn't really that impressed especially by the price tag. In conclusion I will have enough other high-end phones available to compare the omnia to... I'll let you know how it stands up...

seriously N97? I thought it looked terribly under-spec'ed for a top end phone. Your right that its not worth trading in the Omnia i900 for anythng on the market at the moment.

I am hanging out for the HTC Super Star. There isn't much info about it at the moment but the 3.7" screen and nVidia chipset - it will be a very interesting device. I just hope it comes out with capacitive touch.....

Hey you get more software bundles than I do in the UK....I have seen the Asian version i900, HK version i908 and the US version i910 and they all come with better and more softwares, mine came with a lot of donkey shite that got taken out when I updated the rom

well I will stuck in Omnia too, I think we will have a good 3D accelerator driver, or with Android we will get a good driver
