Guest Scutworker Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 I am considering buying a Windows Mobile phone and the forerunner at the moment is the Omnia. I've never owned such a phone before, so need to know if the phone can be switched off at night, as I don't want to receive any calls or texts, but still wake me up with an alarm. I see there is something called a 'sleep mode', would this do what I want, or is there another way? Many thanks. Mark
Guest gianton Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 Yes you can put Omnia on "flight mode". That's what I do every night. Welcome aboard m8! <_<
Guest UncleBeer` Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 Or with phonealarm, you can set up various profiles to your liking. I set up a night mode, where emails won't activate the alarm, but phone calls will. Eminently configurable.
Guest Scutworker Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 It looks like flight mode is the way forward. Thanks for all your help, everybody.
