Bluetooth & Wifi not working

Hey please help! i've searched and the previous posts haven't had any solutions which worked.

My omnia is new, unlocked and unbranded. I am unable to send or receive files via bluetooth. My bluetooth is turned on and my device is visible, it is finding other devices but when I try to send a file it just says pending then fails straight away. And when others try to send me something it doesnt work either.

The wifi turns on and picks up networks but will not connect to any of these networks, the main one i have been trying is my home network and it is not secuity protected and other phones connect to it fine.

I posted these issues together because I have heard they can be linked. This is my first winmo fone so I apologise if I am being an idiot and would appreciate any help

For the bluetooth - go to settings - connections Beams and tap on Accept all incoming beams or something like that.

For the wi-fi - why can`t it connect - does it say unnavailable?!? <_<
