Guest rweston Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002  Hi all I want to change my email settings, but I don't know how to instigate the wizard. If I go into options I can see where I can specify my POP3 settings. Any help appreciated......
Guest tiita Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 you cannot run another wizard as the smartphone supports only one account to modify the details of the previous account, open inbox press menu select options select email setup  there you go..
Guest rweston Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Thanks for the reply I understand that but when I get into the menu you descibe It says.. Synchronisation "1 Calendar" "2 Contacts" "3 Inbox " "4 Connection" ... ... Nowhere can I see my SMTP settings anywhere. This make anysense? Guest tiita Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 it opened ActiveSync instead press the home button press 1 (or select inbox / SMS) follow the instructionas above
Guest rweston Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Thanks again I did, and I know you are probably thinking I'm a bit dim, but when I go into 'email setup' I get the synchronization menu!! Shall I try a Hot Start?
Guest tiita Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 if you get that menu something is definetely wrong. try that or a hard reset. dont forget to pray, and if it does work, run to the nearest church and light half dozen of candles. then send a big offer to the kids of the 3rd world and build a church or 2 somewhere
Guest rweston Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Ha ha.... Question- What will I lose if I do a Hard Reset?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 If you do a hard reset you will be back to out of the box state! P
