The build that is in the emulator is 21234. So that is most likely the RTM build.

If that's true, and I'm not saying it isnt, how come we have builds that are so much higher?

Because they come from OEMs like Samsung and HTC. :D

I seriously doubt that WM6.5 will ever be official for the Omnia. GSM or CDMA.

The same reason that it happened in 6.1, too.

There will always be new builds.

Because OEMs need to make changes to the software to make it work on their device. It takes awhile to make sure that it will work correctly with all of the different hardware and software options.

so in theory a rom like sector's 21812 (Lite) will be newer than the ones that will be available on the touch diamond 2 and touch pro 2? I know the omnia wont get a 6.5 update ( officialy at least :D)

Yo bro...:D

Yeap...we will hit WM7 before they do :D

WM6.1 is at 21046 i think, WM6.5 at 21812 (for now).

OEM releases will always be lower builds...as explained by BlazingWolf...

Even when i buy my next phone (HTC Firestone), i will be cooking up latest ROM, build, everything...we will always have better to offer the phone than when the phone comes out from the shops.

This is why we cook ROMs, this why people flash them ;)
