Guest aceofrazgriz
i wouldn't play around or try too much guys. they still have alot of work ahead of them, even with so much working right now. Its best to take it as is for now, and just wait for the team to make more progress.
Guest Gary Crutcher
On Aug 12 I updated to v163 using svn. Today Aug 22, I tried updating and received an svn UUID mismatch error. I noticed at dotpt.com/svn/andromnia where I have been getting updates, that the version numbers have changed to R #s, i.e., R1, etc and the current version is now at R9. How do I do updates using svn because of this change at dotpt.com? Thanks, Gary
Guest Scenarium
When I click on the image.zip link I get an error and can't download it. I have the same error, i quess its an upload problem from the creators. so we have to wait or hope that anyone has the latest build for us, and will upload it, so that we all can enjoy ANDROMNIA :D

Guest vishalm
the server got hacked and everything was lost. The svn data was reuploaded and hence the reset of revision numbers. The latest before the crash was i believe r163 of which the rootfs can be downloaded from http://pmaster.no/andromnia/ I dont have the latest kernal, but i do have the r161 which seems to work with the new rootfs. here is the link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AEC6KR2Z The package included haret, default.txt and the kernal image file. Just upzip it and transfer the whole folder to your phone and you should be good to go.

Guest tenfourzero
Each time I create the ext2/3 partition with Ubuntu Live CD, I need to reconnect for Ubuntu to mount the drive. On re-connecting I notice the ext2/3 partition has been converted to fat32 in the 5 seconds it's taken me to reconnect. Every time I disconnect from Ubuntu the partition is converted back to fat32. Needless to say this is resulting in the "kernal panic" errors if I go ahead and run HaRET. Where am I going wrong? I followed the instructions earlier with details on mounting and unmounting through the terminal and this seemed to sort the problem (with a single partition at least). Well, it did work, went to screensaver and froze. So I rebooted to run HaRET again and now it's giving "Kernal Panic - not syncing: no init found. Try passing ini option to kernal1". Seems whenever Windows Mobile is running it formats Memeory Storgae to fat32 if its anything other than! Windows Mobile isn't capable for formatting cards (on its own), so it's not that. Edited August 28, 2009 by adamhos

Guest z3ntn3l
Well, are there any new infos out there? Take a look at the latest rev-release: It's 3 weeks old now and i heard in a chat, after the website-hack, the team around Fella stopped working because of losing motivation on this. I didnt talked to anyone of the team but for me it seems legit. Hopefully i'm wrong. Edited August 29, 2009 by z3ntn3l
Guest cclafferty
Well, are there any new infos out there? Take a look at the latest rev-release: It's 3 weeks old now and i heard in a chat, after the website-hack, the team around Fella stopped working because of losing motivation on this. I didnt talked to anyone of the team but for me it seems legit. Hopefully i'm wrong. This is my first time posting on this forum. I've been following this thread almost everyday and checking up on the Andromnia forums. I've noticed a slow down in announcements on this site. Maybe if one of the andromnia team is reading could you give us an update? The work to date has been great, would be a pity to stop now that its showing its real potential. Also, if what z3ntn3l says is true, shouldn't this code for this project be placed somewhere where we can all hack at it? I'm thinking Google Code: http://code.google.com/projecthosting/ Actually, saying this, why exactly was the project kept behind closed doors anyway? Isn't an open platform what everyone wants? We've seen that its available via SVN but we've all seen how reliable that was (Server hack). I'm hoping this project doesnt die. 1, because its a great testiment to an open platform, sticking it to closed source companies like samsung and 2, because windows mobile is the biggest piece of **** I've ever had to put up with on a day to day basis. Please dont leave me stuck with it.
Guest Omnia-Winker
WHY THE HELL did the server get hacked??? What was to gain? I do hope that this project doesnt close, it had not only a strong following but also a very heavy financial payout if the Android OS actually fully functioning. Fingers crossed one of the team spots these comments and puts our minds at ease..

Guest youngbu
Hi, there. Now I'm trying to port Andromnia to my phone. As you maybe know, My phone is Omnia Korean version. It is almost the same i900 only except LCD resolution 480x800. So, I changed xres and yres from source code sgh_i780_i900.c and compiled successfully. When I booted it, I could see some of booting messages. But, After some of booting messages, I could not see anything more. I mean screen is black. I think the problem seems be the pixel clock. Even though I'm a linux programmer, I have no any knowledge of LCD. So, I'd like to know "How to know the pixel clock of LCD". Thank you in advance. P.S. I'm not good at English, please forgive me. As I already said I'm a linux programmer, If you need some of help, I can give some of my effort. (I'm not sure that It can be help or not.) Guest youngbu
another question. I made SD card filesystem format to ext2 by gparted. but, When I boot omnia to run haret, filesystem format of it was changed to vfat. I copied all files of rootfs has gone. I can't understand this situation. Am I fool or something? help me please. P.S. I'm afraid of my poor English.
